Q1:- How To Make Tvants Buffer Faster??
There is a limitation of 10 half-opened TCP/IP connections in Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3), which is the reason
why you don't get TvAnts to work for you at all. But this problem doesn't seem to effect computers in a network setup
called LAN, even if they have SP2 installed. (Inquire with your Internet Service Provider if you don't know whether you
are connected as a LAN user or not.)

Anyone running Windows XP with all the updates installed is likely to run SP3. The quickest way to confirm that you have
SP3 installed is to click on Help -> About Internet Explorer in your IE browser window and read the version information.
It will display 'SP3' as part of the version name.

The most important part is to install the patch and use it to increase your TCP/IP connections in SP3 to 100.
(This patcher is programmed to increase them to 50, but that is not enough). Following are tips to executing the patcher
successfully and avoiding confusion:
1. Download The Patch From : This Patch Link

2. Right-click on the Patcher version you want to download and select 'Save Target As' from the instant menu.
Save the download file to your desktop. (Most IE users will get an error if they left-click on the download link and not save the file.)

3. Unzip and Run the program EvID4226Patch.exe. It will open a Command Prompt window and stop a couple of times
for your response. (See attached file for a complete run session of the Patcher where the limit was increased to 50 only.
Remember, you want to increase it to 100 instead.) Follow these instructions:
a. Windows File Protection will pop-up with a warning. Click on Cancel/Abort and then YES.
(Don't worry, the warning is just a normal safety procedure of Windows XP.)

b. When the prompt 'Do you really want to change the limit to 50' appears, reply 'C' to change the limit to 100.
c. When the prompt 'May these files be renamed until the end of patching?' appears, answer 'Y'.
d. Exit and reboot your system.

4. Open the TvAnts stream you want to watch from www.FootballFreeTV.com Enjoy !

Q2:-UK residents Tvants solution
If you are from uk probably you cant get any Football channles to work @ tvants .
Here is Footballfreetv solution :
1.Open Tvants -> go to 'tools' then -> Settings
2.go to proxy tab, mark the 'use proxy server to connect track server and peers '
3. Then Click on 'add'
4. You need to fill in Non UK proxy , That can be found here :

Good Proxy Site:
IPFREE.cn

Choose South Korean Proxy They Are Great !
Don't forget to fill in the tvants settings the username and the password !
The proxy need to be from sockt5 type.

5.Click 'ok' Then 'Apply ' and close the software.
6. Now Go to our main page www.FootballFreeTV.com and go to the match you want, it will work !

Q3:-Playing in Media Player
To open TVANts in Mediaplayer:
start the channel ->
right mouse when playing ->
properties ->
copy the location ->
open url in WMP and paste the location. This doesn't add much, the TVAnts player is also pretty easy.

Q4:- I use Firefox as my main browser. Is there a plugin anywhere for Firefox users to make TVAnts work?.
Because you use FireFox , you will need to download plugin called internet Explorer Tab :

Download and install it , then you will be able to watch via SopCast in your FireFox Broswer .
